Royal Icing Recipe


The recipe that I will share with you is my favorite as it is not only delicious (of course), but the texture is perfect. There is no such secret ingredient which allows icing to harden enough for stacking and transport while being smooth on the inside. No more biting in a beautifully decorated cookie and servile because the icing is rock hard!
Ingredients
5 tablespoons meringue powder
3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
3/4 cup warm water
2 pounds of powdered sugar
2 tablespoon light corn syrup
1 teaspoon of glycerin
12 drops of food coloring white gel
Oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract clear free
1/2 teaspoon oil free clear almond extract
1/4 teaspoon unflavored clarified butter oil. Read More
