The sandwiches are a staple lunch for children (and adults!) Of all ages, but not all are created equal. If you want to make sandwiches for children of all ages will love, but are full of healthy ingredients and essential nutrients, consider treating your kids to one of these sandwich recipes health.
Start with delicious whole grain bread

Healthy sandwich recipes start with a large base and using whole grain bread is an excellent place to start. Look for a whole grain bread that is full of essential nutrients, including fiber, vitamin B12, folic acid, selenium and more. Fiber whole grain bread helps children stay full longer, so they will not rush to the fridge for a snack at any time of the day.

Add some vegetables to grilled cheese
Grilled cheese is certainly delicious, but you can increase the nutritional value by adding some vegetables to the melty, gooey goodness. If you are looking for an alternative to a traditional cheese grilled cheese made with single, dress up your sandwiches with fresh mozzarella, thick slices of chopped tomatoes and some fresh basil.
